A: No. You must have a physical USB connection between the printer and the Windows computer. The program cannot access the printer's internal firmware over a Wi-Fi connection.
You will know you need the program when your Epson L3256 displays the following symptoms:
Turn off your printer using its physical power button. Click OK on the computer screen. Wait 10 seconds, turn the printer back on, and close the Adjustment Program software.

Resets the printer to its factory default state.
Click on the button on the right side of the main screen.

Run the executable file (usually named Adjprog.exe or Resetter.exe ). You may need to run it as administrator for full functionality.
