: The ARMI Project's Cairo scenery is a product of its time—2015-era FS2004 development. It shows ambition, attention to detail, and genuine care for the subject matter. While not without flaws (the runway drift issue is frustrating for autopilot users), it remains the best FS9 representation of Egypt's premier international airport. For virtual pilots flying routes to North Africa, the Middle East, or the Mediterranean, this add-on is a worthy addition to your scenery collection.

Enter the ARMI Project (Advanced Runway & Model Icons). Their release of Cairo International Airport (HECA) completely transformed the flight simulation experience in Egypt. It established itself as an essential freeware-to-payware transition piece for FS2004 enthusiasts. A hallmark of the product is its high frame-rate performance, allowing it to run smoothly even on older hardware common among the FS2004 community.

The default FS2004 only had a vague shape of the old terminal. ARMI modeled (the original 1960s building) with its distinctive facade, Terminal 2 (the historic hub with its iconic curved roof), and crucially, Terminal 3 —the massive modern facility that opened in 2009. The team used high-resolution photorealistic textures to replicate the blue-tinted glass and concrete structures.

Making best of lists isn’t easy, but you guys made it look even harder here!!
A list of the top 100 90s hop hop songs without ‘Flava in Ya Ear’ by Craig Mack just isn’t even close to credible. Also, Cypress’ How I Could Just Kill a Man’ being so low also does this list no favours. Just sayin.

  5. armi project cairo international airport heca fs2004 Em says:

What’s BS is where’s Salt-N-Pepa? Kind of a sexist list, and you missed a lot of the best songs.

respectfully, this staff aught to be embarrassed at their lack of reverence for Jay-Z’s cultural & artistic importance.

yall come off as listeners who only know his hits

Dead Presidents 1 & 2, Can I Live, D’Evils & more should have been included
